I went to Restored Hope after having thumb and wrist surgery. I dreaded occupational therapy, but that was put to rest quickly. The staff is friendly and caring, and Tamera, my therapist, made my useless hand fully functional again. I was never pushed to the point of pain or discomfort, and each visit brought positive strides in regaining strength and movement in my hand and wrist. After a few visits, going to Restored Hope felt more like visiting friends than going to therapy sessions. Wonderful service. I could not have recovered from my broken arm and sprained wrist without Restored Hope. They were excellent in the treatments, therapy and the explanation of what and why things needed to be done. All the staff are CHEERFUL.

I very highly recommend physical therapist Richard Staudt.
After about a year of limping due to the pain of an achilles injury I participated in pt with another group of therapists. That therapist did not even take the time to look closely at my achilles and their program of mainly exercises was not helping.

Richard Staudt’s unique approach of myofascil release, massage, cold laser and targeted exercises was the key. In about 6 sessions the problem is solved and I have some tools to help prevent further issues. Thanks to Mr. Staudt for all of his hard work. Today I am walking solidly on both feet, even without the support of shoes!

Tamera worked diligently with me for 6 + months on strengthening my fingers, wrist and elbow. I am now at 80% strength of my non-dominate hand/arm strength. I am thrilled with the progress. I would recommend Tamera for anyone in need to physical therapy for the hand/elbow. She is AWESOME!!! So is the entire office. My hand surgeon’s office referred me to Tamera at Restored Hope Hand Therapy after my basal joint arthroplasty surgery. Tamera is so knowledgeable, caring, friendly and fun to spend an hour with for each session. Each treatment session was a bit different than the last, and she gave me “doable” exercises to do at home. I will miss Tamera, Audri and Brandy as they are all so nice and accommodating. I would heartily recommend Tamera to anyone suffering with upper extremity difficulties. Today, my last visit, was bittersweet.

Restored Hope is just as the name implies. I had surgery on my right hand and was in pain and had limited movement. Tamera Ford is an angel; she was patient and caring. Her staff are amazing. The environment was warm and relaxing. With Tamera’s help I have regained some lost mobility. Restored Hope exceeded my expectations.

Having seriously cut my index finger with my Skilsaw, my doctor referred me to Tamera Ford at Restored Hope Hand Therapy and I can tell you that this was a true blessing. Tamera and her staff are welcoming and caring and Tamera is not only a therapist but also a wound specialist with years of experience. In my case, the saw also took out one half of the bottom side of the middle finger joint, so on my first visit Tamera made a custom brace for my finger. It was made of plastic which she formed with heat. You would have to see the complexity of this brace to appreciate it but it allowed me to exercise my finger against the resistance of a rubber band. She gave me exercises to do and measured my progress during each appointment. In short, Tamera and her staff are caring and knowledgeable. They know you by name and make you feel like family. I honestly looked forward to each visit.

I highly recommend Restored Hope Hand Therapy. Tamera and her assistants, Brandy and Audri, did an excellent job on my arthritic fingers, one of which I was told should be immobilized surgically. The pain and swelling in my fingers is greatly reduced and all of the joints are more flexible and strong. I am amazed by the results and intend to keep with an at home program of exercises. Tamera’s expertise is obvious, but her genuine concern, respect and kindness is what really stands out and comforts people in pain.

After an accident where my index finger was severely cut and crushed by extreme weight I had a few miss steps on treatment and wasn’t so sure that I would have full use of my finger again. Fortunately, I was referred to Restored Hope Hand Therapy where Tamera Ford did give me hope. Luckily for me, Tamera is also a wound specialist and with her guidance and treatment my wound started to heal. I saw more progress in healing in two weeks then I had seen in the previous five weeks. The treatments and exercises that I had both at the clinic and at home have restored my finger to near normal and it will get there with a little more work. The entire staff were wonderful to work with and were professional, caring, and fun.

I was scheduled for my first session 1 hour after I got the cast off and pin removed from my fractured thumb. In a few short weeks, due to in clinic care and prescribed exercises, I have regained nearly full function of my hand, which surprised the orthopedic surgeon. Staff is great! Not only technically very good but also extremely personable and friendly. Thanks to Tamera and team for getting me back on the tennis courts and back on my mountain bike!!!

After a serious injury, I was fortunate enough to find Restored Hope Hand Therapy. Tamera, one of the therapist’s (and the owner), is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and it’s beyond obvious that she is passionate about what she does. Treatment included sessions with Rich, another therapist, who specialized in different forms of healing therapies. between the two of them, I knew I was in good hands (no pun intended). Welcoming and personable staff! I felt at home and actually enjoyed every session. I had Tamera and Rich as my therapists. They explained in detail each manipulation and how it will support my healing process. They stressed the importance of doing exercise’s at home which I followed. The therapist and staff at Restored Hope Hand Therapy are the very best around. I went to them with a major thumb injury from a dog bite. They are kind, understanding and very professional. You can call them anytime, they are always there for you. After 5 sessions I am back to normal. I will always have a special place for them in my heart for what they have done for me.

Due to the nature of my hand injury, I was turned down by two different PT Businesses stating they didn’t have the expertise for my type of hand surgery. Many weeks transpired and then I was finally referred to Restored Hope.

After wasting precious weeks, I hand delivered my therapy prescription and met the Owner/Occupational Therapist Tamera Ford. She took the time to look at my hand, the therapy order and discussed a plan to go into effect the following week. She stated her background which included specializing in my particular hand injury.

My first session with Tamera included a full background on my type of injury, her occupational therapy plan, exercises, physical manipulation and a custom hand brace she made specifically for me. When I saw her three days later, there was a noticeable improvement which astonished me. I knew then I was in the right place.

I spent three months undergoing occupational therapy under Tamera’s care and guidance at Restored Hope. Tamera runs her business with the utmost professionalism and cares about every patient personally.

Tamera is the first therapist to remain devoted in her treatment of my challenging degenerative condition. She is a great listener and created unique innovative custom splints for both my hands, protecting them from more decline, patiently supporting me with minor adjustments as needed. Her knowledge and skill for numerous exercises to strengthen and bring more flexibility to my fingers was extensive. I really appreciated the one-on-one focused care not always present with OT therapists who sometimes juggle multiple patients at a time. I highly recommend her and her OT team and if continued therapy is needed I will definitely be returning to Restored Hope Hand Therapy!

Taméra is an amazing occupational therapist. The genuine relationships she builds with her patients is a testament to her passion for helping people heal and get back to their normal lives. I was stressed out and impatient when I first came in for therapy and Taméra communicated very clearly what to expect out of treatment and how long it would take. Essentially, she told me to chill out because it was going to be a slow process. With her guidance (and a few reminders) I was able to take it down a few notches and take it slow and steady to get full range of motion back in my arm after surgery to repair my distal bicep tendon.

Everyone in the office was pleasant to work with which created a positive vibe that I believe also contributed to my recovery. I highly recommend Restored Hope Hand Therapy for any upper extremity condition you might need treatment for.

Restored Hope Physical Therapy and, in particular, Tamera Ford, came into my life and my recovery from a burst bicep tendon at just the right time. The tendon burst on July 13 just above my right elbow while a was lifting a box. Surgery followed on July 20. I wasn’t booked into PT at another well known Prescott establishment until mid-September and then a slot with Tamera opened up. I’m glad it did because she really knows her stuff! While I had made progress on my own, the recovery program and process she laid out got me in and out of PT in just 4-5 sessions! I was amazed!

If you do the work with Tamera, I’m pretty sure you will get the kind of results that I did! Thank you Tamera. I owe you big time!

I could tell from my first appointment I was going to get the right therapy I needed for my finger. Everyone here is professional, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Following outpatient carpal and cubital surgery, I was referred to Restored Hope for PT. Tamera and her associates are consummate professionals. The parameters of my then condition were carefully measured to demonstrate future progress. A game plan of exercises both in-house and for ‘homework’, along with heat and cold therapy were implemented. All the above was in accordance with the directives of my orthopod, PA and my family doctor. Prescott is blessed with many outstanding PT facilities I have used fine. However, I would cheerfully recommend Restored Hope to anyone in need.

Tamera is so much more than a “hand” therapist. I starting P.T. on my SHOULDER at a different office and they were having me do the incorrect exercises that almost caused irreparable damage. I suffered a severe dislocation of my left index finger in a horseback riding fall which was surgically repaired in April of 2023. From the first day of therapy it was abundantly clear that owner, Tamera, and Melissa (my primary physical therapist) cared a great deal about my regaining flexibility once the surgical pin was removed. Like most physical therapy, it wasn’t easy! But Melissa was incredible in terms of taking the time to steadily improve my range of motion. I “graduated” after 10 weeks and continue on the road to recovery doing my stretches at home.

After an ATV accident, I had little hope that my right hand would ever be the same. Tamera gave me the confidence to work hard for results. Tiny improvements on each visit added up to big changes, allowing nearly full use of my hand once again. They were flexible when I had schedule conflicts. The pleasant positivity was infectious and appreciated, making my twice-weekly out of town drives worth it.

Physical therapy sucks but it’s necessary if you really want to heal. I spent the last couple of months in the care of Tamera and Melissa at Restored Hope and while it took hours away from an already busy schedule, it was worth my time and their effort. They are experts at what they do and they share both their knowledge and compassion for getting their patients back to some level of normalcy. If you keep a positive attitude and do the “home work” they assign you, you’ll be be very satisfied with the results.

After Hand Surgery I called 10 different Physical Therapy offices for an appointment in May. All of those offices had no opening until early/Mid June. Restore Hope Hand Therapy was able to fit me in for two a week appointments. I just finished all my sessions and my left thumb was able to recover 95% of the movement and bend at the knuckle. Tamera and her team made my visits feel like old friends getting together for each session. Thank you for all the support and friendship.

With a surgically repaired broken elbow and two sprained wrists, I was a mess. Tamera accomplished my physical therapy and succeeded beyond my wildest expectations.
